Thank you for purchasing an ATXPIXEL product!

Our battery-powered lighting systems use lithium-ion battery technology and should be handled responsibly. Please read and follow these guidelines & disclaimers before use.

Before First Use

  • Fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Charge until the charger indicator shows a green LED, indicating charging is complete. This period may be shorter than future, charging sessions.
  • Inspect the battery, wiring, and connectors for damage before each use. Report any issues to us for evaluation and replacement provided under warranty.

Charging Instructions

  • Use only the charger supplied or approved by ATXPIXEL.
  • Charge on a non-flammable surface.
  • Keep away from flammable materials while charging.
  • Do not cover the battery or charger during charging.
  • Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
  • Do not charge batteries that appear damaged, swollen, punctured, wet, or excessively hot.

Battery Handling

  • Do not puncture, crush, bend, or modify the battery pack.
  • Do not attempt to open the battery enclosure.
  • Do not short-circuit battery terminals or connectors.
  • Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, open flames, or direct fire.
  • Do not leave batteries inside vehicles during extreme heat conditions.

Water & Weather Exposure

  • ATXPIXEL products may tolerate incidental moisture and light road spray depending on the specific product configuration.
  • Products are not intended for submersion.
  • Avoid riding through deep water or conditions that may allow water intrusion into battery packs, controllers, wiring, or LED Strips and connectors.
  • If a product becomes submerged, turn the system off and discontinue use and inspect all components before further operation. Let things dry out and test for 5 minutes, if the system fails to charge or run beyond this time frame, there is a fault.

During Use

  • Stop using the product immediately if:
    • The battery becomes unusually hot.
    • The battery emits an odor.
    • Smoke is present.
    • The battery appears swollen or damaged.
    • Wiring insulation becomes damaged.
  • Disconnect power immediately if safe to do so.

Storage

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry location.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Avoid storing fully discharged batteries for extended periods.
  • Recharge stored batteries periodically to maintain battery health.

Damaged Batteries

Do not continue using damaged batteries.

If a battery is punctured, crushed, swollen, smoking, or otherwise compromised:

  1. Move away from combustible materials if safe.
  2. Do not handle excessively hot batteries directly.
  3. Allow the battery to cool in a safe outdoor location.
  4. Dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations for lithium-ion batteries.

By purchasing and operating ATXPIXEL products, you acknowledge that lithium-ion batteries require proper care and handling. Users assume responsibility for safe operation, charging, storage, installation, and maintenance of all battery-powered products.

ATXPIXEL products are decorative lighting products and are not safety devices. Improper use, modification, abuse, neglect, accidents, impacts, water intrusion, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow these guidelines may result in equipment damage, property damage, injury, or fire.

ATXPIXEL is not responsible for damages resulting from misuse, modification, improper charging practices, or failure to follow the instructions provided with the product.

ATXPIXEL is committed to resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Customers experiencing product issues should contact ATXPIXEL support and provide a description of the issue, photographs when applicable, and their order information.

ATXPIXEL reserves the right to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, or refund products at its sole discretion in accordance with applicable warranties and policies.

Unauthorized modifications, alterations, repairs, misuse, abuse, accidents, improper charging, improper installation, or operation outside intended use may void warranty coverage and any claims.

Claims and Product Issues

Any claim relating to a product defect, shipping damage, or warranty issue must be submitted directly to ATXPIXEL through the designated customer support channels. Customers agree to provide reasonable opportunity for inspection, troubleshooting, and resolution before pursuing other remedies.
